Hi We are a paper bag manufacturing business based in Ethiopia. Due to Ethiopia’s nationwide restrictions and enforcement measures against single-use plastic bags, the market is rapidly shifting toward paper packaging solutions. The demand for paper bags in Ethiopia is increasing strongly across supermarkets, grocery stores, bakeries, pharmacies, restaurants, and retail businesses. The Ethiopian government has officially enforced a ban on single-use plastic bags starting January 31, 2026, creating long-term opportunities for paper bag manufacturers and suppliers.
