RFQ DESCRIPTION:

Hi, We are seeking strategic partners for long-term supply of wood for import to UAE. We intend to ramp-up volumes over time, and hence, dedicated forestation expansions may be considered. A strategic partnership may also include joint investments in forestation projects. Please find below some detailed information about our requirements. Wood types: Eucalyptus, Beech, Poplar, Willow, Alder, Aspen, Maple, Pine, Spruce, Fir Wood Products/Form: Wood chips, wood chunks, wood billets (30 cm length), or wood logs. Products shall be ideally debarked. Product Demand: • Year 2028: 100-500 metric tons per annum (tpa) • Years 2030-2033: 160 tpa • Years >2033: 300,000 tpa • Years >2035: >1,000,000 tpa We are kindly asking to provide the following details: • Indicative price basis: FOB (Incoterms® 2020) • FOB port: Please state your loading port(s) and terminal details • Shipment profile: Your standard monthly cadence (e.g., even spread / seasonal) • Wood species: e.g., Eucalyptus pellita, E. deglupta, hybrids, etc., and typical rotation age • Wood certification status (FSC/PEFC, legality assurance, etc.) • Volumes & schedule: Monthly availability, ramp-up limits Please let us know in case you require additional information.
