A Recycled Alternative to Coated Unbleached Kraft (CUK) Karicote is a 100% recycled double clay coated board designed for carrier board applications and as a recycled alternative to CUK. Karicote is most commonly used for consumer packaging of beverages, food products, pet food and hardware. Like Strathcote, Karicote provides superior value because of its density and strength characteristics. The kraft back liner and filler fibre construction give Karicote its strength to provide a recycled packaging alternative to CUK. Karicote is also available with Grade II or Grade V sizing, which makes it an ideal recycled substrate for multi-pack packaging for beverages, pet food and household goods. Karicote is available in rolls or sheets in 450 um/18 pt, 500 um/20 pt, 575 um/23 pt and 600 um/24 pt. |
