Aktul Kagit, a group member of Yildiz Holding started to produce tissue paper from 100% virgin wood pulp in September 2011 using “Viscosoft Technology”, which is used for the first time in Turkish paper tissue industry. Thanks to the Viscosoft Technology, Aktul Kagit produces the softest toilet paper and most absorbent paper towel in Turkey with eco-friendly production practices. Aktul Kagit carries out its tissue paper manufacturing and converting operations in stakeholders, to continue Pamukova-Sakarya, in a total area of 200.000 m2 with a capacity of 140, 000 ton/year in paper production and 120.000 ton/year in converting. Aktul Kagit produces branded products such as Komili and Komili Yuvam with highest hygiene standards as well as private label products for leading chains. Aktul Kagit is also the preferred supplier of quality semi-finished rolls for many converting facilities; local and abroad. Aktul Kagit accepts the system as a whole, and quality is the priority of everyone involved within this system. With this perspective, Aktül Kagıt was certified Quality Management Systems in its first year of production, because quality is value and respect offered to customers. Aktul Kagit started its operations in 2011 with tissue mill and converting facilities and is able to produce tissue paper between 12 gr/m2 and 40 gr/m2 from 100% virgin wood pulp. In modern facilities, where hygiene and human health are kept in the forefront, raw materials and chemicals are carefully selected and eco-friendly products that are in line with human health are produced. Products, in which water resistance is a desired quality (such as paper towel and napkin), certified chemicals that are proven to be suitable for direct food contact are preferred for manufacturing.
