L&R Timber has been providing professional service and exceptional pulp quality chips to paper mills and manufacturers since 1983. As a local, family-owned, and innovative business, our roots are in East Texas, but our reach is worldwide. We started just 10 miles up the road from where we are today and are three generations strong. We work with manufacturers all over the United States and have also supplied export customers in Japan. Having started with a three-person crew producing 4,000 tons of chips per week, we have optimized our efforts and continue to grow and thrive. We now produce up to 10,000 tons of pine and hardwood chips per week, as well as several by-products per week, and have a crew of 15 full-time employees. We are committed to being environmentally responsible. That’s why we are committed to working with Texas Pro Logger Certified Contractors, and to using 100% of the fiber from each ton of pulpwood we process. Our reputation for quality products and second to none service is our proudest achievement and our number one commitment to our customers. At L&R we do what we say we are going to do.
