Preston Board & Packaging Ltd are paper board suppliers and laminated chipboard suppliers with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. Preston Board & Packaging Ltd was founded in 1981. In 1986, a second laminator was built enabling the company to substantially increase its output and range of products. Our current range of products now includes large display boards and Foil lined chipboards in a variety of colours and embossed designs, one and two sided White lined chipboard, Specialist coloured and embossed design papers lined to chipboards, one and two sided Kraft lined chipboards and laminated unlined chipboards. Our auxiliary equipment offers the facility to guillotine trim, round corner, diecut and slot. In 1994, the group purchased the Romiley Board Mill in Romiley, Cheshire which was a primary supplier of unlined chipboard to the laminating factory at Preston. Romiley Board Mill manufactures a range of unlined grey chipboard, brown dyed chipboards, tubes, edge protector boards and speciality boards for a wide range of industrial uses. Our group now acts as paperboard manufacturers and paper board suppliers, selling in the region of 80,000 tonnes of paperboard per annum, covering many paperboard grades used in the industry today. As part of the group’s continual environmental improvement programmes both Preston Board & Packaging and Romiley Board Mill achieved Forest Stewardship Council® FSC Chain of Custody certification in early 2011 underlining the group’s commitment to sourcing of paper from well managed forests with good conservation and human rights practices.
