Griff's Glassine Paper is grease resistant, non-absorbent, with a high resistance to the passage of air. This material is smooth and transparent, and is made in white and various colors. It protects items from moisture and can be creased and folded. It also has the ability to accept ink or markers. This transluscent material will not smudge charcoal, pastel, or graphite drawings. It will not absorb moisture and has a smooth texture to avoid trapping foreign objects. Available in white or various colors. With so many uses Glassine is becoming more and more popular. These are just a few of the many uses for Glassine Paper Rolls and Sheets: Laboratory Scale Weighing Dishes, Protection of Fine Works of Art, Candlemaking, Candy Box Inserts & Liners, Photograph Albums, Stamp Albums, Charcoal Sketches, Oil & Water Color Paintings, Insect Collection, Fireworks, Soapcrafting, Kazoos, to cover the window on die cut envelopes. Glassine is used in the sundex process, the new form of laminating. Our silicone coated Glassine Paper can be custom formulated to meet any of your release criterion. The release levels can range from easy to tight releases. It is available in a 40# to 50# basis weight. The glassine release liner is the perfect choice for roll label converting. |
