DESCRIPTION:
Machine glazed unbleached sulphate and mixed sulphate paper is currently produced on JK/6 and JK/8. It is produced either of pure unbleached sulphate pulp, or a mix of this pulp with sulphite pulp. Both types in this large group of packing papers are offered in weights from 17 g/m2 to 90 g/m2 in reels or sheets. Both modifications produced on the basis of unbleached sulphate pulp are currently supplied either with a smooth or ribbed surface. Machine finished unbleached sulphate paper is predetermined by the achieved technical parameters. It is used mainly for the production of bags for packaging bakery goods, and for the production of various types of paper carry bags. Mixed sulphate paper does not reach such high durability parameters as sulphate paper, and therefore it is generally printed and then used in sheets for packaging all types of consumer goods. It is often supplied to other processors, who refine it by applying polyethylene or paraffin.
