Bleached machine glazed sulphate paper is currently produced at JIP on JK/6 and JK/8. This is reflected in the range of offered weights, from 17-90 g/m2. The production of this high quality paper uses bleached sulphate pulp, meaning that the resulting product achieves high quality parameter values. Machine finished bleached sulphate paper with a weight of 40-120 g/m2 is produced on JK/4. Apart from the traditional production in reels, this paper is also offered in sheets. Bleached sulphate paper is produced in several varieties apart from the standard version, which extends the possibilities of its use. With weights of 17-40 g/m2, it is also offered in the wet strength variation - produced on JK/6. The paper may be produced in the entire range of offered weights using an optical brightening agent. The character of the pulp used in the production of bleached sulphate paper defines the scope of its use. It is most often used for the production of bags of all sizes for the food industry. On the demanding markets of Western Europe, the wet strength variation is increasingly applied for flower wrapping.
