Higher Alcohol Defoamer is a high-performance defoaming agent developed for papermaking systems, especially suitable for applications requiring stable foam control under medium temperature conditions. Based on higher fatty alcohols and fatty acid derivatives, it provides effective foam elimination and long-lasting suppression while maintaining compatibility with other process chemicals. The product features excellent stability during storage and consistent pumping performance during use. It operates effectively within a temperature range of 20–60°C, offering strong antifoam and foam-suppressing properties along with good degassing performance. In addition, it has minimal impact on other papermaking chemicals such as sizing agents and retention aids, ensuring overall system stability and efficiency.
